Our Journey
In 2021, during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, our team met virtually while working with Byju’s. Despite our diverse experiences and educational backgrounds, we shared one thing in common: we all came from rural areas where access to quality education and technology was scarce. We knew firsthand the challenges rural students faced, from limited learning opportunities to the struggle of securing career opportunities.
Determined to make a change, we launched Skillern Academy with a mission to bring market-oriented, expert-led courses to rural students. Starting in Anekal Taluk, South Bangalore in March 2023, we began offering affordable, high-quality courses that provide not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience through internships with leading companies. Our goal is to ensure that every student who joins us is prepared for success, both academically and professionally.
