Progress reporting

A clear view of what has been taught.

A CA Foundation lesson-plan progress report from a partner PU college tracks each subject by topic, sub-topic, status and faculty remark, alongside a test schedule. This sample shows the format, not a claim about current completion.

Skills are no longer an elective. They are an institutional responsibility.

Policy

NEP 2020 makes it explicit

The National Education Policy 2020 sets the goal that at least half of all learners gain exposure to vocational education, integrated into mainstream schooling and higher education. Institutions are now expected to show how they deliver it.

Employers

Hiring screens for tools, not titles

Entry-level roles in accounts, operations and administration are filled on demonstrated ability: working in Excel and Tally, handling GST and income tax, producing reports. A degree alone no longer proves it.

Technology

AI is reshaping routine work

Generative AI now drafts, summarises and analyses. Graduates who can use these tools accurately and responsibly are productive from the first week; those who cannot are competing with the tools.

The Skillern Academy Standard

Five commitments behind every course we deliver.

  1. 01

    A published syllabus

Module by module, with learning objectives your academic council can review.

  2. 02

    Defined teaching hours

40 to 100 hours per course, mapped to your semester or academic calendar.

  3. 03

    Practice on real tools

Microsoft 365, Tally Prime, Power BI and the Income Tax and GST portals.

  4. 04

    Formal assessment

Internal assessments, project submissions and practical lab tests.

  5. 05

    Recognised certification

Skillern Academy certification, with NSDC and EMax certification for eligible courses.
