Institutional services · Quality
Independent evidence of what is working in your institution, and what is not.
A structured, evidence-based assessment of teaching quality, learning outcomes, leadership, infrastructure and stakeholder experience, delivered by Skillern in partnership with IndiaEdXpert. The result is a scored report and a prioritised improvement plan your management can act on.
Why assess
Decisions are only as good as the evidence behind them.
Managements invest every year in new programmes, technology and teacher training, yet few can show what those investments changed. Parents, accreditation bodies and funders increasingly expect evidence, not assurances. An independent assessment gives leadership an objective baseline, identifies the gaps that matter most, and creates a benchmark against which progress can be measured year on year.
What we assess
Five areas of institutional effectiveness.
01
Teaching and learning
Classroom practice, pedagogy, assessment quality and learning outcomes.
02
Curriculum
Alignment with NCERT/CBSE, ICSE, State Board, IB or Cambridge frameworks, and gaps in coverage.
03
Leadership and governance
Vision, planning, academic leadership and decision-making processes.
04
Infrastructure and resources
Classrooms, labs, libraries, technology and safety.
05
Stakeholder experience
Perspectives of students, parents and teachers on the institution.
Multiple instruments, triangulated for accuracy.
| Instrument | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Classroom observation protocol | Structured observation of teaching practice across grades and subjects |
| Leadership interviews | Principal and management perspectives on priorities and constraints |
| Teacher focus groups | Professional practice, workload, training needs |
| Student and parent surveys | Learning experience, satisfaction and expectations |
| Infrastructure checklist | Condition and adequacy of physical and digital resources |
| Records review | Results, attendance, assessment and planning documentation |
