About this course

Students learn double-entry accounting, journals, ledgers, trial balance, final accounts and bank reconciliation, then move to audit procedures, internal controls, vouching and verification. Practical work uses Tally Prime or Zoho Books and a billing application students build themselves.

  • No prior accounting knowledge needed for the school version
  • Basic Excel recommended

Curriculum

Signature project

Books and audit of a small business. Students keep a month of books in their own billing app and software, then audit a classmate's records.

Assessment and certification

Students who pass receive a Skillern course completion certificate. NSDC and EMax certification are available for eligible courses.
